HOUSING AND ACCOMMODATION
Students admitted in the Polytechnic may not automatically enjoy residential status. Nonresidential students will be required to make their own arrangements for lodging out of the campuses and transportation to and from the irrespective campuses. Such students are not permitted to reside in any Hall of residence. Violation of this regulation will lead to serious disciplinary action against both culprits and the students who harbor them.
OCCUPANCY OF ROOMS
Resident students should occupy the rooms assigned to them by the Warden’s office. No transfer should be made without the knowledge of the Warden. No cooking or ironing is allowed in the student's rooms. Ironing should be done in the laundry room
POLICY AND REGULATIONS
In all constituent campuses of the Polytechnic, regular and punctual attendance at prescribed classes is compulsory for all students. Students can be withdrawn from their programmes of study on account of non-attendance, poor attendance, and lateness. Also, change of courses at mid-stream is not permissible. Students wishing to do so must inform the Director of Studies. Testimonials, Attestations, Certificates, Diplomas, and Degrees will be given to students on successful completion of their courses.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
All registered students in the Polytechnic are expected to comport themselves in accordance with the provisions of the rules and regulations of the college. Students are reminded that their continued stay in the Polytechnic is dependent upon good behavior in and out of the various campuses, throughout their period as students of the Polytechnic.
Strict disciplinary action will be taken against any student who:
(a). Is insolent to anyone in authority.
(b). Fights on campus.
(c). Enters the campus/other operational areas under the influence of alcohol or drugs (cannabis sativa, cocaine, etc.).
(d). Is involved in a case of stealing.
(e). Illegal uses the name of staff, student associations or any other organization of the Polytechnic.
(f). Is involved in the printing/promotion of anonymous letters of posters that will tarnish the image of staff or students.
(g). Commits any other offense that is deemed to bring the Polytechnic or any of its constituent campuses into disrepute.
